Amber Sidoti

BSC Director of Training * Micro Division * Midget Division * Travel Division * TOPSoccer Program

Hello!

My name is Amber Sidoti and I am the Bristol Soccer Club’s Director of Training, head trainer for the Micro and TOPSoccer Divisions and one of the head trainers for the Travel Division. I have been involved with BSC as a volunteer and professional trainer for a combined 7 years and have enjoyed every second of it.

I have been playing soccer since 3-years old and continue to play today. In my time, I have won multiple State Championships during my Travel years; multiple State Championships and a Regional Championship with my Premier team; and two State Championships with my High School team where I had earned a position on the Varsity team my freshman year and Captain my senior year. I have received awards ranging from Herald Player of the Week, MVPs, All Conference, All State, and All New England along with many others throughout my career. I attended Quinnipiac University on an athletic scholarship for soccer and graduated with a BA in Psychology with a focus on child development.

I have been coaching since 2006, working with Everson Soccer Academy and Special Olympics, while I attended college. I currently work with Soccer Shots, Ajax, and Extreme Soccer along with BSC and have recently earned my USSF D-License to aid in the development of the players I get the pleasure to work with. I am also concussion trained and CPR/First Aid/AED certified for the safety of the players, families and staff.
As a trainer, I believe in the emotional, mental a

nd physical development of the player on and off the field. I encourage creativity and fun while expressing the importance of the team, the role of the player to the team and vice versa. As we grow as players, it is my responsibility to emphasize positive, beneficial growth individually and collectively with the team.
I hold a great love for this game and for teaching those who come to play. My hope is that every player I am privileged to train will leave me with the same love I hold for the game.

Can’t wait to see what the season has in store!
